Organic MakeUp Concealers

Why use organic

Makeup to cover and conceal an unsightly scar, blemish or dark circles are very popular.. Teenage girls skin is sensitive and begins to break out usually around 12 ears of age. They also start using makeup around that time also so finding something to not make their breakouts worse is optimal.

Women are always on the lookout for the latest beauty products on the market today. As we age those bags and dark circle appear more pronounced. Blemishes and age spots are also a problem as we age, so concealers can be a Godsend.

Covering the dark circles under your eyes can be tricky. The liquid foundation usually dries and cakes up; the powered concealer rubs off and must be re applied and the stick roll-on type can make the puffiness worse if too much pressure is applied.

To make matters worse are the ingredients in most over the counter products. They will often cause break outs and rashes making you apply more make up. It's a vicious cycle of frustration for anyone with problematic skin.

Being cursed with sensitive skin, I look for make up with organic, hypo allergenic ingredients. I always read the label and look for some words such as organic and natural. Some concealers do a better job than others.

I have used many products and suffered with reactions that lasted days or even weeks! Makeup concealers being applied to the most sensitive areas of my face must be carefully scrutinized.

To be classified as natural or organic, a company must have the majority of their ingredients as organic or natural. In other words, no synthetic, or allergens in the makeup. Since the cosmetic industry is mostly unregulated, the consumer must be alert to their claims and read every label or research the web for reviews.

Most of these product lines has some “other” ingredients but it's assumed that since people are having a better experience with these products, then there must be some truth to their claims.

I have reviewed some concealers that claim to be made with natural ingredients. Most of these products have the same list of ingredients give or take a few.

Going natural is tricky so you'll have to check the labels and companies out carefully.

Some may claim to use organic ingredients, but the label shows many unsafe "other" ingredients used to stop spoilage.

Some of these ingredients you'll find on the label are;

  • organic Castor oil

  • safflower,

  • Jojoba

  • natural antioxidants

  • purified water

  • willow bark extract

  • hazelnut oil,

  • beeswax

  • vitamin c

  • organic rose extract

  • organic grape seed extract

  • borage oil
